Blog 5: My future job

I always imagine myself working in a group and for the community. I think that university research work has accustomed me to working in teams, although I must admit that on the one hand it is exhausting to coordinate people haha, but on the other hand it is also enriching.

Well... I must also admit that I consider myself an unsociable person, so I don't know if people will want to work with me as a team hahaha. I think is a point important to be considered 😅.

I'd like to work both outdoors and indoors haha. For example, since I would like to work with and for the community, the ideal is to be in the field (outdoors). But there will also be times when I have to be indoors to think and write. I think that along with working with the community comes the dream of traveling a lot. I would like to "travel the world" helping people and/or doing research. But... for that you need money haha

And ... speaking of money. I admit that when I entered college I expected big things haha. But on the first day of classes a professor said we shouldn't expect a sociologist to get paid well 😆. So, from then on I've just been hoping to get enough and focus on working on the things I like.

Well, they were able to deduce above that I study sociology. I like to study issues of gender, migration and social movements. But obviously I'm still inexperienced and the can change the tastes with the time.
